It includes two whetstones of varying grits: resharpen your damaged or extremely blunt knives with the coarse 240 grit, and resharpen dull knives and remove burrs with the medium 1000 grit. It also comes with a non-slip base for ultimate control.
Submerged in water for about 5 minutes – or until bubbles are no longer forming – before use, then sharpen your straight-edge knives at a 15 to 30-degree angle through a constant back-and-forth motion.
